If you're in Los Angeles, I need some support on this one. I'm playing at the Hotel Cafe THIS THURSDAY evening the 18th, at 7pm. I go on right on time, by the way... They run a tight ship!
I don't know exactly how much they'll be charging at the door, but it should be less than 10 bucks.
I open for 2 really fabulous ladies: Lenka and Emily Wells. The night will be WELL WORTH it!
There's food there as well by the way. :)

"BOWIE tribute show TONIGHT in Topanga!!!
Tonight is going to be awesome! Bowie amid the oaks, underneath the stars...in a beautiful little outdoor amphitheatre in the middle of the woods of Topanga Canyon.
With: myself, Inara George, Justin Webb (of the Webb Bros.), Eleni Mandell, Becky Stark (of Lavender Diamond), Willoughby, John Gold, Mike Andrews, and other surprise guests.

Get there early... show starts at 7:30, but traffic will be insane! Holiday weekend...
You can take the 101 over Topanga, or come from PCH---the theatre is halfway between the two, at 1419 Topanga Canyon Blvd.
They sell yummy food and drinks there... Dress warmly... the show is outdoors.

Something better's coming...
"That's it, i'm all better now, spit up the last of what made me hurt"....
Feel it Coming, es una de las canciones de Sara que màs me gusta...y es increible còmo una canciòn puede tener tanto efecto en una persona...No es una canciòn lenta, sino con màs fuerza en sus notas...lo que la hace tener un efecto aùn màs potente.
Por què me gusta tanto?...simplemente porque habla de ESPERANZA...de creer que aunque estemos en un mal momento, algo mejor viene....da esa sensaciòn de alivio despuès de una situaciòn difìcil en la vida..el poder "spit up the last of what made you hurt", sacarse eso que tanto nos hacìa mal, para poder seguir adelante.
Feel it coming habla del poder estar bien con uno mismo..."I thought I'd never learn to be alone"...de acostumbrarse a estar solo y que eso no nos haga sentir mal...
Habla del vivir y de no quejarse tanto de todo, porque finalmente eso nos vuelve locos..."It's so easy to complain, but it will make you insane, that same routine, the impulse to be mean..." (esa es la parte que màs me gusta de la canciòn)(y la canto fuerte jaja)..
Feel it coming, nos dice que every cloud has its silver lining, que despuès de la tormenta, siempre sale el sol..."and the grass is oh so green, after winter rain"...que por màs que en el momento nos sea difìcil seguir adelante, lo vamos a lograr, porque "something better's coming"

Me encanta esta canciòn, porque en esos momentos en lo que no me siento muy bien, por ciertas razones, en los que pienso "Y ahora que hago?"...en los que todo se oscurece y se vuelve dificil ver..Feel it coming, prende una lucecita...que me hace creer..y sentir...que algo mejor esta llegando...y de pronto esa lucecita se convierte en un arcoiris enorme, que le devuelve la melodìa al corazòn, y ahì es donde me vuelvo a encontrar con mi interior, me conecto con mi ser...y con mi parte optimista, esa que cree que las cosas por algo pasan...que siempre, algo mejor esta viniendo...sòlo hay que seguir...
